ADINA ȘANDRU is a University lecturer Ph.D. at the Faculty of Psychology, Educational Sciences and Social Work of “Petre Andrei” University of Iasi, where she teaches sociology and cultural anthropology. She graduated from the Faculty of Sociology of “Al. I. Cuza” University of Iasi and she holds a PhD in sociology, with a dissertation on Rites of Passage in contemporary Romania. A socio-anthropological perspective. In 2010 and 2012, she carried out two research stays at the University of Konstanz, Germany, and she has published numerous specialist papers and articles. In the period 2011-2014, she was an associate assistant at the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Social Work, University of Al. I Cuza", where she teaches seminars on General and Romanian Ethnology.
